Central City Community Outreach
In May 2010, volunteers from the Taproot Foundation completed and launched the new Central City Community Outreach (CCCO) website. The new site features a brand new logo that forms the basis of their new identity, a bold new design, updated content and much more. As a result, the Central City Community Outreach organization has been reenergized and is working on ways to help raise funds to help the homeless of Los Angeles’ skid row.
This site was designed and developed by a group of volunteers working for the Taproot Foundation:
- Brenda Ballard - Account Director
- Indu Sanwal - Project Manager
- Dan Hutson - Marketing Manager
- Brent Wood - Designer
- Steve Wertheimer - Designer
- Megan Huard - Copy Editor
- Daniel Harlow - Information Architect / Business Analysis
- Brenda Harlow - Web Developer
- Cameron - Photographer
- Amy Bojanowski - Photographer
- Seth Joel - Photographer
Daniel Harlow and Brenda Harlow were volunteer members of the Taproot Foundation team that completed the project. Daniel assisted with the technical aspects of website design such as information architecture and technology selection. Brenda developed the XHTML valid web template based on a Photoshop mockup and merged the updated content into the new site.
