Daniel Harlow, President & CEO
As the founding President and CEO, Daniel oversees all aspects of Harlow Technologies Inc including overall company management and client relations. Daniel has expanded the company’s portfolio with long-term clients like Amgen, Technicolor and the Norton Simon Museum who entrust their critical business processes to his expert guidance and knowledge. He has gained their trust and respect to set the overall direction and guidance for their primary business systems. Daniel’s expertise is in information architecture and database design and development. Over the years of he has worked with systems in many different industries, including Biotech, Education, Print and Digital Media, and Entertainment. Daniel graduated from California Lutheran University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems.
Brenda Harlow, Vice President
Brenda has been in web development for more than 14 years, five of them as a webmaster for one of the California State Universities. In that role, Brenda successfully navigated building a cohesive and accessible college website through departmental buy-in and content management, while gaining a reputation of being able to listen to the clients' needs and provide technical solutions to fit those needs. Brenda is a 2011 graduate of CSU Long Beach with a Masters of Arts degree in Educational Technology and 2001 graduate of California Lutheran University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. She also holds certification in professional information/data accessibility through ATI (CSULB).
Laramie Ericson, Project Manager/Business Analyst
Laramie has over 8 years of project management experience; including database and web development projects. She has managed multiple development projects with teams that work remotely and independently, ensuring communication, timeliness and accountability. Laramie has spent the last three years honing her business analysis and technical writing skills, primarily working on biotech database projects. Her expertise is technical writing for all phases of the system life-cycle. Her industry experience includes Biotech, Museums/Art Conservation and general Business Management & Finance. Laramie received a Master of Science degree in Art Conservation from the University of Delaware in 2000.
Jeremy Cullen, Web Developer
Jeremy is a highly regarded web developer with expertise in HTML/CSS, Java, PHP, Python, C#, and JavaScript. He has experience building PHP-based CMS systems, including Drupal, SilverStripe and Magento. A valued member of the Harlow Technologies Inc team since 2009, Jeremy has been instrumental in all stages of Web and CMS deployment projects. He has recently been developing projects for Biotech Marketing, Education and Non-Profit systems. Jeremy received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 2008 at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
Brian Coan, Junior Software Developer
Brian is a talented, budding database and mobile application developer with language skills in Objective C, HTML/CSS, FileMaker Scripting, and Java. Brian works on many different stages of Web/CMS development at Harlow Technologies Inc, including file conversion from .psd to HTML, QA, content upload and system deployment. His recent projects have included systems for Performing Arts, Digital Communication and Retail. Brian received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from California Lutheran University in 2010.
Brent Wood, Freelance Graphic Designer
Brent is a highly experienced contract art director and designer. Brent has worked in user interface design and traditional print design for over 19 years, developing specialist capabilities in identity and branding, logo design, website design, illustration and information design, and user interface consulting. He is a 1998 graduate of Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA with a Master's of Fine Arts in New Media.
David Mascarina, Freelance Graphic Designer
David has over 14 years of experience as a web designer. Previously, he worked as a senior web designer for Pasadena City College and Warner Bros. Television. Along with his work for Harlow Technologies, David is a web producer for California State University, Northridge and for the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design. In addition, David has received training in ATI accessibility.
