Valley Performing Arts Center
In the summer of 2010, the Valley Performing Arts Center (VPAC) at California State University, Northridge approached us with a project to develop a new SilverStripe based website. The goal of the project was to develop the website with a robust calendaring system that was easy to maintain by VPAC staff.
To do this, Harlow Technologies Inc. and VPAC worked closely on identifying the feature set needed for the delivered website. Once that was complete, VPAC provided the HTML template where we converted it into a working SilverStripe theme. We then utilized the Calendar module and customized it to meet the clients specifications. Finally, we moved the content into the new website and helped launch it.
The new Valley Performing Arts Center website was officially launched in February of 2011 where it immediately set a new standard for CSU Northridge websites. With its robust calendar and clean design, the VPAC website is a valuable asset to the Valley Performing Arts Center staff and the community at large.
In May 2011, the Valley Performing Arts Center won a CMSA SpotLight Award for Best Education Site Built in SilverStripe at the 2011 CMS Expo.
